11 Amazon Home Finds That Actually Make My Life Easier
Practical organization, storage and everyday home finds I actually own, use and would buy again.

I’m always looking for little ways to make our home feel more organized and everyday life run a little smoother—especially with two kids and what feels like a never-ending amount of stuff. 😂
Over the years, I’ve found some Amazon home finds that have genuinely made a difference in our house, from finally giving the mail a home to figuring out where on earth to charge all of those tablets.
And these aren’t things I ordered just so I could put together an Amazon roundup. These are things I actually own, actually use and would buy again.
Some solved a very specific problem. Some helped me reclaim a counter or cabinet that was driving me crazy. And a few are just those purchases that make me think, why didn’t I buy this sooner?
So if you’re looking for practical home finds that help with organization, storage, cleaning and just making everyday life a little easier, these are 11 of my favorites.
1. Magnetic File Holder — Because I Was DONE With the Mail Pile
You know that pile of mail that somehow takes up permanent residence on the kitchen counter?
Bills. School papers. Things you need to deal with later. Things you’re afraid to throw away because you might need them. 😂
That was my kitchen.
Our mail and papers would constantly end up piled on the counter, and no matter how clean the rest of the kitchen was, that one pile made everything look cluttered and messy.
Ugh. So frustrating.
I needed a designated place for all of it that didn’t take up more counter space, and this 6-tier magnetic file holder ended up being the perfect solution.
I can separate everything into different sections instead of throwing it into one giant pile, and because it attaches magnetically, I didn’t have to drill holes or sacrifice more usable space.
It’s such a simple thing, but giving all of those random papers an actual home made a surprisingly big difference.

2. Plastic Storage Baskets — I Use These EVERYWHERE
These may not be the most exciting thing on this list…
But I use them EVERYWHERE.
My kitchen.
My linen closet.
My bedroom closet.
Cabinets.
Shelves.
Basically, if I find a random group of things that needs a home, there is a good chance one of these baskets is getting involved. 😂
I love using simple storage baskets because they let me create little categories within larger spaces. Instead of having one giant cabinet full of random things, I can group similar items together and pull out the whole basket when I need something.
They’re one of those inexpensive organization purchases that you keep finding new uses for.

3. Delamu Under-Sink Organizers — Saving My Skincare From the Abyss
If you know me, you know I am obsessed with skincare and haircare products.
So needless to say…
I have quite a few. 😂
The problem was trying to keep all of those bottles, jars, backups and random products organized without losing half of them to the abyss underneath my vanity.
I would buy something, put it under there and then completely forget I owned it because it had somehow migrated behind six other bottles.
Enter these Delamu 2-tier organizers.
These have been a sanity saver.
The two-tier design gives me so much more usable storage, and I love being able to pull things out instead of digging around trying to find whatever product I’m looking for.
And while I use mine for my beauty products, these could easily work underneath a kitchen sink, in a bathroom cabinet, pantry or anywhere else you need to make better use of cabinet space.

4. Sterilite Industrial Storage Totes — A Moving Purchase That Stayed
We originally bought these 27-gallon Sterilite storage totes when we were moving out of our previous house.
We knew we would need plenty of boxes, but we also had a bunch of those heavy-but-small odds and ends that absolutely destroy cardboard moving boxes.
You know the box.
It looks perfectly fine when you pack it, and then you pick it up and suddenly the bottom is fighting for its life. 😂
So we bought these totes to move some of the heavier items.
But the best part came after we moved.
Once everything was unpacked, I reused the totes to organize our storage area. I labeled them so I know exactly what is inside each one, and now finding things is SO much easier.
Instead of buying something that was useful only for moving, they became part of our permanent home organization system.

5. usikey Buffet Cabinet — The Storage Piece I Don’t Regret Buying
I had a large empty wall in our dining room that was basically begging for something.
But I didn’t want to buy furniture just to fill the space.
If I was putting something there, I wanted storage.
This usikey buffet cabinet ended up being the perfect solution.
It filled that empty wall beautifully while giving me a TON of extra storage—and I have absolutely put that storage to work.
It currently houses things like my kids’ puzzles, coloring supplies, my office printer and a bunch of other miscellaneous things that otherwise wouldn’t have a good home.
I love purchases that are both pretty and functional, and this is definitely one of them.
Out of everything I’ve bought for our home, this is one purchase I absolutely do not regret.

6. SMOTURE Cordless Vacuum — One of My Most-Used Home Purchases
If you’ve read my Mom Life Must-Haves, you’ve already met this vacuum.
And yes…I’m putting it in another favorites post. That should probably tell you how much I use it. 😂
The SMOTURE cordless vacuum has become one of those things I reach for constantly because it makes quick cleanups so much easier.
With kids, there is always something on the floor.
Crumbs after breakfast.
Whatever mysterious debris appears underneath the dining room table.
Hair.
Little pieces of who-knows-what that somehow travel throughout the house.
Having a cordless vacuum that I can grab without dragging out a full-size vacuum makes me much more likely to quickly clean something up when I see it instead of adding it to my mental I’ll deal with that later list.
I also love that I can use the different attachments for other areas like furniture and smaller spaces.

7. Collapsible Laundry Baskets — PERFECT for Small Spaces
Our washer and dryer are inside a wide closet in our dining room.
I know.
It sounds like a strange place for a washer and dryer. 😂
But I actually LOVE having them there because it is so much more convenient than having to go up and down to the basement every time I need to do laundry.
The downside?
I don’t have a huge laundry room where I can leave a bunch of full-size laundry baskets sitting around.
That is exactly why these collapsible laundry baskets work so well for us.
When I need them, I can pop them open and use them like a regular basket. When I’m finished, they collapse down and take up significantly less room.

8. Rechargeable Under-Cabinet Lights — Such an Easy Little Upgrade
These are one of those little additions that make a space feel just a bit more finished.
I originally got these rechargeable under-cabinet lights for my kitchen because I loved the extra lighting they added underneath the cabinets.
But what I really like is how many other places you can use them.
Dark closet?
Yep.
Inside a cabinet?
Yep.
Hallway or stair area?
Yep.
Basically, anywhere you can attach the magnetic adhesive mount can become a potential spot for one.
And because they’re rechargeable, you don’t need to figure out complicated wiring just to add some extra light.

9. Multi-Device Charging Station — The End of Cord Chaos
We have three tablets, a computer and what feels like an endless number of random kid things that need to be charged.
Before this charging station, we basically had an entire counter dedicated to charging cords and devices.
Cords everywhere. Tablets stacked on top of each other. Devices left in random rooms because the kids didn’t really have a designated place to put them when they were done.
It drove me CRAZY.
This multi-device charging station solved two problems at once: it cleaned up the mess of charging cords and gave all of our devices an actual home.
Now instead of asking, “Where did you put your tablet?” for the millionth time, there is one place where everything is supposed to go.
Does that mean my kids put them there every single time?
Let’s not get carried away. 😂
But at least now they have a place!

10. Amazon Echo Spot — Part of My Morning Routine
I absolutely love my Echo Spot.
It sits by my bed, and it has become part of my morning routine.
My alarm goes off, I can check the weather, put on music, listen to a podcast or use Alexa for whatever random thing I need that morning.
And I don’t even have to fully function yet. 😂
I love having several little everyday functions in one device rather than having another basic alarm clock taking up space.
It’s definitely not a necessity, but it is one of those convenience purchases that I use every single day—which makes it worth including on this list.
Why I love it: It combines my alarm, weather, music, podcasts and Alexa into one little device on my nightstand.
11. 15.6″ Digital Family Calendar — The Command Center Our Family Needed
And finally…
Another repeat offender from my Mom Life Must-Haves list—and I’m not even sorry.
One of my absolute favorite Amazon home finds.
Our 15.6-inch digital family calendar has basically become our family command center.
Between school schedules, appointments, activities, work and everything else that comes with managing a family, keeping track of who needs to be where—and when—can get overwhelming quickly.
I love being able to have everything visible in one central place instead of relying on random notes, papers and me trying to remember everything in my head.
Because apparently “I’ll definitely remember that” is not a reliable organizational system. 😂
The chore-chart functionality is another feature I love for the kids, and having the calendar somewhere everyone can see it makes our schedule feel much more manageable.
If you’re trying to get your family schedule more organized, this is one of my favorite finds on this entire list.
Why I love it: It gives our family one central place for schedules and chores and helps get some of the mental load out of my head and somewhere everyone can actually see it.

The Best Amazon Home Finds Solve an Actual Problem
Looking at this list, I realized something.
Almost every one of my favorite Amazon home finds became a favorite because it solved some tiny problem that was repeatedly driving me crazy.
The mail pile.
The charging-cord disaster.
Products disappearing underneath my vanity.
Not enough storage.
Laundry baskets taking up precious space.
A floor that somehow has crumbs on it approximately five minutes after I vacuum. 😂
None of these things are life-changing on their own.
But when you start fixing those little annoyances throughout your home, everyday life gets easier.
And that’s really what I look for now when I’m shopping for our house.
Not just Is this cute?
But…
Is this actually going to solve a problem?
Will I actually use it?
Will it help me organize something that currently drives me nuts?
Because those are usually the purchases I end up loving the most.
